Casting Call

This is a casting call for an experimental independent short film to be shot in the English language in New Delhi.
The story revolves around the Internet phenomenon, specifically the advent of Internet chat as a means of romance and release.
As mentioned, the film is highly experimental in nature so it will require an uninhibited portrayal of the characters and the situations they are found in.
It is a two location based script, so besides the script, the onus will lie completely on the actors to be able to carry the film.
There is an element of nudity in the film, which will be shot in a safe and controlled environment.

The character breakdown is as follows:

Character 1:

Vital Characteristics- Male, Indian, 23-29, Fluent English
Preferable- Thin, Lanky. Lots of character in facial expressions. Immense control over body language.


Character 2:

Vital Characteristics- Female, Preferably Caucasian (or able to carry off the look of a foreigner with accent) 23-35, Fluent English
Preferable- Lots of character in facial expressions. Immense control over body language. Full bodied figure. Accent.


Character 3:

Vital Characteristics- Male, Homosexual (or the ability to portray a homosexual character- no stereotypes!)
Preferable- Caucasian, (or able to carry off the look of a foreigner with accent) 23- 29, Fluent English

Character 4

Vital Characteristics- Male, Caucasian (or the ability to portray a foreigner), 26-32, Fluent English
Preferable- Well Built, Classically good-looking

Others

Vital Characteristics- Male/ Female, Indian/ Caucasian - 20

Balls on a Rampage Productions is a young start-up organization founded by Uddhav Ghosh. The venture was founded with the vision of providing an alternate forum for entertainment with experimental film subjects.

The aim is to make a dent in the traditional methods of electronic programming while working outside the system. The objective being, to provide creative content which targets a niche audience and has a higher recall value. To do so, one needs to make sure that one doesn't give in to the workings of the present archaic system and that we continue flooding the market with creative content which does not follow the norms of conventional programming.
